MUST-SEE: Shohei Ohtani Purchased THIS Insane LA Mansion From Famous Comedian … Is He Truly The Modern-Day Babe Ruth??

Sure, the season didn’t exactly get off to a perfect start for Shohei Ohtani, but that had nothing to do with anything on the field.

Fresh off signing a record-breaking 10-year, $700 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the two-way phenom quickly found himself wrapped up in a gambling scandal involving his (now-former) interpreter Ippei Mizuhara.

While Ohtani has admitted to having trouble sleeping and being a little scared from the whole situation, he has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the matter.

In other words, the beat goes on…

Did I mention he signed a $700 million contract??

While he smartly deferred $680 million of it, the fact of the matter is he is still a very rich man.

As a matter of fact, he’s rich enough to buy comedian Adam Carolla’s old Los Angeles home!! (That’s how you know you’ve hit it big.)

The modern-day Babe Ruth purchased the mansion in La Cañada Flintridge for a whopping $7.85 million, according to real estate records obtained by the Los Angeles Times.

Carolla previously purchased the property for $7.32 million back in 2018.

Carolla has cited personal reasons, including a divorce, for putting the mansion on the market.

Situated in La Cañada Flintridge, the mansion is reportedly a 20-minute drive to Dodger Stadium.

(However, in reality there’s no such thing as a “20-minute drive” to Dodger Stadium – even if you’re in the ballpark’s parking lot.)

Ohtani’s new residence offers both luxury and convenience.

The sprawling three-story mansion spans 7,327 square feet and is nestled on nearly an acre of prime real estate.

Constructed in 2013, the home exudes modern elegance, blending stone, glass, and wood elements under skylights and clerestory windows.

Inside, Ohtani will enjoy a host of amenities, including a custom kitchen, an indoor-outdoor living room, a movie theater, a sauna, a gym, and a basketball court.

The mansion boasts five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, including a lavish primary suite with a balcony and a spa tub.

The outdoor space is equally impressive, featuring a swimming pool, a spa, and a sprawling lawn, all overlooking picturesque views of the surrounding landscape.

All in all, it’s not too bad, huh??

On the field, Ohtani is in the middle of yet another stellar season.

While he’s still recovering from Tommy John surgery and isn’t expected to take the mound until next season at the earliest, he remains one of the best hitters in all of baseball.

As far as the Dodgers as a team, it’s been business as usual and they’re on track to make a deep October run.

Ohtani’s arrival in Los Angeles has undoubtedly sparked excitement among Dodgers fans, as the Japanese sensation looks to make his mark on historic franchise.

Despite the recent controversy, Ohtani has remained impressively focused.

His focus will seemingly get even sharper now that he’ll be living in this beautiful new mansion.

What are your thoughts on Ohtani’s new home?

Where do you rank him among the top players in all of baseball? … Is he indeed the best in the game?

In the bigger picture, do you think his $700 million contract will end up looking like a bargain? … Or will it ultimately age very poorly?

As for the Dodgers, do you think they’ll be able to get over the hump this season and win the World Series???
