Los Angeles superstar outfielder Mookie Betts admitted that his 2018 Red Sox team stole signs en route to winning the World Series.
Betts made the admission to the Los Angeles Times – but was quick to downplay how big of an advantage them stealing signs actually was.
“This is what I’m trying to say. People are trying to make it like we’re cheating,” Betts said. “Give us credit. We had a good team. Give us some credit. We had Cy Young winners. We had MVPs. We had Gold Glove winners. We had Silver Sluggers. We had all that. Take that into account.”
Betts won the MVP in 2018, leading the Sox to a franchise-record 108 wins and a five game World Series victory over the Dodgers.

Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts acknowledged that he was aware his (Red Sox) team was using live video feeds to stealing signs.
