MICHIGAN MAN FOR LIFE: Jim Harbaugh Just Can’t Help Himself As He Takes Yet Another Vicious Shot At Ryan Day … Out Of Line??

In a continuation of the rivalry that never seems to cool down, former Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh has once again aimed a barb at Ohio State’s Ryan Day.

Harbaugh, now at the helm of the Los Angeles Chargers, didn’t miss the opportunity to stir the pot during his media session at the NFL owners’ meetings in Florida this morning.

Referencing his famous “born on third base” comment, Harbaugh took yet another shot at the Buckeyes head coach.

“Everybody in that building, no one was born on third base. Everyone had to work their way to first,” Harbaugh stated, highlighting the meritocracy within the Chargers organization.

Harbaugh’s earlier remark about Day being “born on third base” and thinking he hit a triple had stirred controversy.

It was a critique aimed at downplaying Day’s role in the success of the Buckeyes, suggesting that it was Urban Meyer who truly built the program’s foundation.

Michigan faithful might relish in Harbaugh’s comments, especially after the Wolverines recent successes against Ohio State.

Under Harbaugh’s leadership, Michigan has won three-straight against their arch-rivals. Most importantly, he accomplished his ultimate goal of winning a national championship this past season.

However, Day and the Buckeyes are gearing up to reverse the tide.

Despite recent setbacks, Ohio State is anticipated to start the 2024 season among the top-ranked teams, with some speculating they could even claim the number one spot.

The 2024 season is setting up to be quite unprecedented, especially with the playoff field expanding to 12-teams.

In many ways, it feels like we’re on an Ohio State – Georgia collision course…

As for the Wolverines, they’ll attempt to continue their success under new head coach Sherrone Moore who is taking over for Harbaugh.

Moore did a phenomenal job filling in for Harbaugh last season during his suspension. However, it’s safe to say college football will dearly miss Big Jim in Ann Arbor (whether you’d like to admit it or not).

What are your thoughts on Harbaugh taking yet another shot at Day?

Do you think he made a mistake leaving Michigan?

Should he have stayed and tried to create a dynasty in Ann Arbor???
