“Life Isn’t Fair”: Justin Fields Gives Surprising Answer When Asked About His Future … Is He A Franchise Quarterback??

Bears quarterback Justin Fields’ time in Chicago is most likely coming to an end.

Always the focus of constant chatter and criticism, Fields was asked directly about his future at a recent press conference.

The Bears will have two very high picks in the coming draft, and Fields is smart enough to know that there’s a solid chance the franchise will look to draft his replacement.

“I mean, life isn’t fair,” Fields said, referring to the possibility of being replaced in Chicago.

“I’m just focused on what I can control, and the rest is in God’s hands.”

Acknowledging the unpredictable nature of the NFL, Fields emphasized that the sport doesn’t define him as a person, regardless of where he may end up playing.

“I’m very blessed in the position I am in, and I think a million people would love to be in the position I am right now,” he continued.

“So I’m not taking that for granted and just taking each and every moment I have every day up here to the fullest.”

Last offseason, the Bears traded the #1 overall pick in the draft to the Carolina Panthers.

The deal included wide receiver D.J. Moore and the Panthers first-round pick in the 2024 Draft, which is currently positioned to be the #1 overall selection.

Fields is one of the most polarizing players in the league.

Many people have varying opinions on him – but no matter where you fall, all agree that he has been an overall disappointment thus far.

Addressing the team’s offensive struggles, Fields stated: “We’re aware of where we stand in terms of offense, but I believe in our abilities, and we’re working hard to improve.”

That’s all well and good, but we all know the clock is ticking…

The decision-making process for the Bears will likely unfold over the final five games of the season, with Fields having one last month to try to impress the front office.

Chicago returns from a Week 13 bye to face the Detroit Lions this Sunday.

Despite being a disappointment on the field, to his credit, Fields has been very mature in his handling of all the criticism and adversity … That will surely count for something going forward.

And hey, there’s still some Bears fans who believe in #1…

What are your thoughts on Fields?

Does he have what it takes to be a franchise quarterback in the NFL?

Are his days in Chicago coming to an end???
