Lead CFB Analyst Says Oklahoma Should Be Scared Ahead Of Red River Showdown Vs. Texas

Tomorrow’s Red River Showdown between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns is undoubtedly the biggest game of the day.

There is definite Playoff implications on the line. Simply put, the stakes couldn’t be much higher.

With both teams playing great and entering the game with identical 5-0 undefeated records, clearly, something has to give.

The Longhorns, determined to reestablish their dominance, are eager to prove that they are truly “back” on the national stage.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma seeks redemption following last season’s painful 49-0 defeat at the hands of their hated rivals.

Despite signs of resurgence, FOX Sports lead college football analyst Joel Klatt remains very skeptical about Oklahoma’s chances tomorrow.

“Texas is a team that beat Oklahoma 49-0 last year, handed it to ’em,” Klatt stated emphatically on his “Joel Klatt Show.”

“I understand Dillon Gabriel wasn’t on the field, but he doesn’t make up 49 points, and the version of Texas that you’re about to see in the Cotton Bowl is better than what you saw last year.”

The Sooners are playing much better than expected so far this season. They won’t enter tomorrow’s game with any fear.

Having said that, Quinn Ewers and the Longhorns are clicking on all cylinders right now and are clear national title contenders.

What do you think the keys to tomorrow’s game are?

Who do you think will win?

Either way, who has the brighter future as a program going forward?
