Lane Kiffin’s Young Son Is An Elite Trash-Talker (& Quarterback Too!)

Lane Kiffin’s knack for stirring up controversy seems to have rubbed off on his son, as young Knox Kiffin was spotted engaging in some lighthearted trash-talk during the recent Manning Passing Academy.

LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels revealed that Knox, who is still in middle school, boldly proclaimed that Ole Miss would emerge victorious in their upcoming matchup against LSU.

“Yeah, he was talking about Ole Miss is going to beat us this year,” Daniels disclosed, according to WGNO TV.

This audacious display of confidence shouldn’t come as a complete surprise, given Lane Kiffin’s own proclivity for instigating on social media. Just a couple of months ago, the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels even went so far as to mock Florida’s spring game.

However, it appears that Lane himself is not immune to his son’s trolling antics. Knox, who recently had the opportunity to visit the University of Southern California (USC) campus, playfully informed his father that Lincoln Riley, the current head coach at USC, is now his favorite coach for the Trojans.

While Knox still has a considerable amount of time before he reaches college, the aspiring quarterback from the class of 2028 has already narrowed down his list of preferred schools.

Ole Miss, Florida, Oregon, Texas, and Georgia were identified as his top five choices. Perhaps USC, his father’s alma mater, has managed to join the ranks since his campus visit.

As fate would have it, Jayden Daniels and the LSU Tigers will have the opportunity to prove young Knox wrong when they face off against Ole Miss in Oxford on September 30th.

It remains to be seen whether Knox’s confident prediction will come back to haunt him or if LSU give him a taste of his own medicine.

Either way, Knox seems like a quarterback we need to keep our eye on as he continues to be recruited by the big boys.
