Lane Kiffin’s Phenom QB Son Just Received First Offer From Very Surprising Program … Will Lane Let Him Get Away??

Lane Kiffin is one of the most polarizing coaches in all of college football.

You either love him or you hate him. There can be no in-between. But one thing is for certain: he’s great for the sport.

As it turns out, Kiffin’s son is a pretty damn good quarterback and just received his very first scholarship offer despite only being in eighth grade.

Knox Kiffin announced that Division II Mississippi College formally offered him the well-earned scholarship offer.

Despite his young age, Knox has been making the rounds around the country, visiting several major football programs.

Speaking about Knox’s potential, former Mississippi State wide receiver Cam Floyd, who coached Knox at a recent Mojo seven-on-seven event, expressed his admiration for the young quarterback’s skills.

“By far, he probably has the best arm I’ve seen in this circuit,” Floyd told David Johnson of Inside the Rebels. “I’m very, very impressed with his arm strength.”

“Usually, as the offensive coordinator, I have to kind of coach the kids on where to throw the ball. Today, I showed him the play and he dissected it himself,” he added.

“You don’t get that a lot in 14 years old. He’s wise beyond his years. You can tell his dad is a coach.”

At 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, Knox may not possess great size, but he is already drawing attention for his athleticism and high football IQ.

With four years left before he officially enters the college football world, Knox has ample time to further develop his talents and attract attention from other programs.

Lane previously revealed that Knox has his sights set on several top-tier football programs, including Oregon, Florida, Georgia, Texas, and of course, Ole Miss.

Knox added a touch of humor to the situation by playfully trolling his father, declaring USC head coach Lincoln Riley as his favorite after a visit to the campus last June.

Nothing at all against Mississippi College, but it’s safe to say Knox will eventually be receiving better offers from bigger programs.

Will he ultimately play for his father?

Will Lane even be at Ole Miss in four years?

2024 is shaping up to be an enormous year for Lane and the Rebs. After all, this is looking like his best-ever team in Oxford.

With the playoff field expanding to 12-teams, Lane is expected to guide Ole Miss to a playoff spot … But will he???

What are your thoughts on Knox?

Of course, it’s way too early to have a firm opinion on his future … However, do you think he will end up living up to the hype???
