Kirk Herbstreit Has A MAJOR Problem With The Latest CFB Playoff Rankings … Do You Agree??

The latest College Football Playoff rankings have sparked discussions among fans and analysts alike, with one familiar face once again stirring the pot.

ESPN’s lead analyst Kirk Herbstreit is as good as there is in the world of college football.

Regarding the latest rankings, Herbstreit didn’t shy away from critiquing his own alma mater, the Ohio State Buckeyes, for the second consecutive week.

In what might be seen as a bold move by some, Herbstreit didn’t hesitate to voice his concerns about Ohio State’s top-ranked position.

Despite the Buckeyes securing notable victories against Notre Dame and Penn State, Herbstreit firmly stated that they weren’t a complete team deserving of the number one spot in the rankings.

“As of right now, I don’t think they’re a complete team to be ranked at the number one spot,” Herbstreit asserted following the rankings release.

He didn’t stop there, as he went on to advocate for their hated rivals to surpass them in the rankings.

“To me, I would have Georgia and Michigan ahead of them based on what they’re doing on the field … I know you like metrics and analytics and all that, but I watch the games and watch these teams play. I look at Georgia and Michigan as teams that are a little bit more complete.”

Despite his ties to Ohio State, Herbstreit appears to prioritize an honest evaluation over personal allegiances, acknowledging the importance of on-field performance.

(General Bob Carpenter doesn’t subscribe to this theory.)

What do you think about Herbstreit’s take?

Do you agree that the Buckeyes are a tad overrated?

What would your ranking be???
