Johnny Manziel Opening Hilariously-Named Party Bar Near Texas A&M Campus

Before his fall from grace, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel once ruled College Station.

Johnny Football fever nearly rivaled Tebow fever – and that’s saying quite a bit.

Fortunately for A&M fans, Manziel announced that he will be opening a bar in the Northgate district, just minutes away from the Texas A&M campus.

“Always wanted my own shot bar on Northgate,” Manziel’s post read. He added: “Coming soon,” at the bottom, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its grand opening.

Named “Johnny Manziel’s Money Bar,” the bar is set to open its doors this fall, according to the bar’s official Instagram page.

While specific details about the menu and offerings have not been released yet, the bar plans to keep late-night hours until 2 a.m., aiming to become “College Station’s favorite party bar.”

The anticipation for the bar’s launch is fueled by the teaser photo shared by Manziel, featuring him in an Aggies uniform, striking his signature money celebration pose.

This nostalgic callback to his glory days at Texas A&M in 2012 and 2013, when he threw for an impressive 7,820 yards and 63 touchdowns, further stirs up excitement among fans and locals alike.

Manziel’s football journey has been marked by both triumph and challenges. His stellar college performance led to accolades like the Heisman trophy and a high NFL Draft selection in 2014.

However, his NFL career was short-lived, plagued by issues related to alcohol, speeding, and an alleged assault, ultimately leading to the end of his NFL career after just eight starts with the Browns.

These tumultuous experiences are set to be the focus of an upcoming Netflix documentary titled “Untold.” The film will delve into the quarterback’s troubled NFL career, offering insights into the highs and lows that he experienced both on and off the field.

In a trailer for the documentary, Manziel candidly admits, “I thought I played better the harder I partied,” shedding light on the pressures and temptations that accompanied his early success.

The “Untold” documentary is scheduled to release on August 8, and it promises to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the rise and fall of “Johnny Football.”

Meanwhile, the excitement for the opening of “Johnny Manziel’s Money Bar” continues to grow, as College Station eagerly awaits the return of their beloved former quarterback in a new capacity.

What do you think about Johnny Football opening an A&M party bar?

There’s surely some locals who have become turned off by him. But there’s no denying he still has plenty of supporters.

If you attend an Aggies game in the future, will you be stopping by the Money Bar??
