Is This The Year Lane Kiffin Finally Beats Nick Saban??: Rebs QB Jaxson Dart Is Very Confident

One of the biggest storylines of the college football season (not having to do with Deion Sanders) is the fact that for the first time in a longgg time, the Alabama Crimson Tide look extremely vulnerable.

In what is a very rare down-year for the SEC (for their standards), the Ole Miss Rebels are a team that has had the luxury of flying under the radar thus far.

That flying under the radar will all change if they can find a way to beat the Tide in Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

Could this be the year that Lane Kiffin finally knocks off Nick Saban??? Don’t be surprised if he does.

For that to happen, the Rebs will need to click on all phases. With Alabama going back to the struggling Jalen Milroe at quarterback, it’s hard to imagine the Tide lighting up the scoreboard.

In other words, if the Rebels offense continues their dominant roll, there’s a very realistic chance they’ll pull off the upset.

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart is certainly excited for the challenge.

“This is a game that I feel like our whole team has been looking forward to,” Dart said. “Especially with how things ended the last time that we played them.”

“Obviously, they’re Bama, so you know what to expect from them.. From growing up as kids, we’ve all grown up seeing them at the top, so we’re excited for the challenge.”

You get the feeling that Ole Miss will be able to hang around in this game – and maybe, just maybe, they’ll be able to win it.

Either way, the current 7-point spread in favor of Alabama seems off.

What are your thoughts on the matchup?

Who will win?
