HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!: Star Lineman Reveals His Shocking Diet Which Consists Of An Unthinkable Amount Of Calories … Could You Handle It??

Drafted in the seventh-round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Jordan Mailata has been a very solid and reliable weapon on the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line.

The Eagles dominance on both their offensive and defensive lines was the main reason why they reach the Super Bowl two seasons ago.

If they’re going to get back to that stage, Mailata and company are going to be a big reason why.

At 6-foot-8 and 365 pounds, Mailata is one of the biggest and strongest players in the entire NFL.

As any top-level offensive lineman will tell you, it’s not the easiest thing in the world to maintain their strength and frame.

Besides obvious weight training, lineman that big need to consume a whole lot of protein and carbohydrates on a daily basis.

Appearing on “The Dave Chang Show,” Mailata revealed what his food intake consists of both on the night before a game and the morning of.

The night before a game, Mailata consumes an entire box of bow-tie pasta, loaded with shrimp, rosé sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

He also takes down a 20-ounce steak and three pieces of garlic bread, while downing it all with a Sprite.

On gameday morning, he eats an 8-egg omelette with spinach, mushrooms, cheese and avocado … He also devours between 4-8 pancakes and a glass of orange juice.

Mailata is far from the only Eagles offensive lineman who eats good during the season.

All-Pro tackle Lane Johnson previously revealed his typical daily diet during the season – one that consists of 5,000-6,000 calories…

-2x 12oz ribeye steaks

-5x scrambled eggs

-1x avocado

-3x sausage links

-3x greek yogurts

-1x sweet potato

-1x baked potato

-2x protein shakes

-2x orange juices

-1x “monster mash bowl” (rice, ground beef, seasoning)

Interestingly, Johnson admitted that Eagles players have weight brackets that the players must remain in, or they are fined $800 per pound.

In the case of Mailata, clearly whatever he’s doing seems to be working just fine. Although he admits his diet is as much about superstition as anything.

He revealed that the one time he deviated from his diet, he gave up a sack.

Needless to say, he jumped back on the wagon and hasn’t looked back since.

The Eagles will look to bounce-back from a nightmare 2023 season.

Fresh off their Super Bowl appearance, Philly was hoping to pick right back up where they left off – and for a while they did, at least in the standings.

However, it was clear and obvious throughout the entire season that something was off with the Eagles. They weren’t nearly the same team that they were in 2022.

Sure enough, they completely unraveled down the stretch of the season and ended up being humiliated by Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoffs.

But 2024 brings a brand-new season filled with optimism for the Eagles. (Although it will be very strange not seeing Jason Kelce in a Birds uniform on gamedays.)

Knee-deep into their offseason preparations, Mailata and wide receiver A.J. Brown have reportedly taken the leadership bull by the horns in Philly.

Head coach Nick Sirianni is very pleased by what he sees so far.

Notably, the Eagles will kick off their 2024 season in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers.

The September 6th clash is a special Friday night matchup and will mark the first time the NFL has ever played a game in Brazil.

It should be quite a scene…

What are your thoughts on Mailata’s diet?

What’s the craziest diet you’ve ever heard an athlete be on?

As far as actual football is concerned, do you think the Eagles will bounce-back this season?

Or will we end up looking back on the 2022 season as a fluke that was largely engineered by two outstanding coordinators who have both since left???
