Heisman Candidate Sam Hartman Talks Irish Resurgence & Previews Massive OSU Showdown

Notre Dame’s star transfer quarterback Sam Hartman has catapulted himself into the Heisman Trophy discussion.

He has also made the Notre Dame Fighting Irish legitimate Playoff contenders.

Last year, the Irish struggled to find the end zone, scoring just 10 points in a season-opening loss to Ohio State.

However, this year, with Hartman at the helm, the offense has undergone a remarkable transformation. Hartman has already thrown an impressive 13 touchdowns in the team’s undefeated 4-0 start this season.

Hartman expressed his confidence in his teammates and coaches ahead of thei highly anticipated matchup against the Ohio State Buckeyes.

“I think we have an unbelievable O-line that I have a lot of confidence in,” Hartman remarked. “Our running backs have all been playing incredibly well. Tight ends have been doing great, and outside we’ve shown we have some explosive capabilities and the ability to spread the ball around when you need to and be able to run the ball when we can.”

Hartman also gave credit to Notre Dame’s defense for their strong performance this season, emphasizing the importance of “complimentary football.”

The Irish defense has allowed just 47 points through four games, setting the stage for what should be an epic showdown in South Bend.

“A lot of it is just the trust,” Hartman continued. “The trust and belief that everybody around me is doing their job, which they’ve been doing all year, and we’ve been doing since the spring. So it’s exciting. It’s an exciting opportunity to go out as a team and play a complete game.”

What do you think of Hartman? Does he have a chance to win the Heisman?

More importantly, who will win the big game – Notre Dame or Ohio State?
