FORGETTING SOMEONE??: Davante Adams Reveals His Controversial Wide Receiver Mount Rushmore … What’s Your Biggest Gripe??

Davante Adams is excited for the new era of Raiders football.

With head coach Antonio Pierce taking over, Las Vegas is in many ways turning the page to a new chapter in the organization’s storied history.

Growing up a Raiders fan in California, Adams was extremely excited when the Green Bay Packers shipped him out west to the desert.

That’s not to say these past few years haven’t been rough.

Unfortunately for Adams, the start of his Raiders tenure wasn’t nearly as successful as he was expecting. There were even rumors that he was looking for a way out.

Watching Jordan Love succeed with the Packers was salt in the wound for Adams … Many wondered if he regretted forcing his way out of Green Bay in the first place.

Adams spoke about that and a whole lot more when he joined teammate Maxx Crosby on “The Rush” podcast.

Another interesting topic they spoke about was all of the great wide receivers the league has produced over the years.

Crosby took it a step further when he asked Adams to name his personal Mount Rushmore of all-time receivers.

Adams didn’t hesitate as he named “Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, Calvin Johnson, and Terrell Owens” as the four best receivers to ever step foot on a football field.

The four that Adams named are all popular choices whenever fans discuss who the top receivers are in NFL history.

Rice, Owens, and Moss stand tall among the top four in NFL history for receiving yards, with Rice’s monumental 22,895 yards towering over everyone.

Johnson, although not ranking among the top 25 for all-time receiving yards, touchdowns, or receptions, is revered for his unparalleled dominance on the field during his short career.

(Imagine if he played on this current Detroit Lions team???)

Owens and Moss, synonymous with the late 90s and early 2000s era of NFL excellence, captivated fans with their highlight-reel catches and ability to wreak havoc on secondaries.

Interestingly, Moss recently did an interview where he was asked the same Mount Rushmore question … He ended up naming the same exact receivers that Adams did (including himself)…

Reflecting on his own accomplishments, Adams acknowledged the challenges of the 2023 season, characterized by a shift in leadership and offensive struggles in Las Vegas.

Despite all of the drama, Adams still hauled in 103 receptions for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns.

What are your thoughts on his choices for the four best receivers of all-time? … Would you swap any of them out?

Who is on YOUR Mount Rushmore when it comes to all-time wide receivers???
