According to a stunning report, the University of Michigan is reportedly on the verge of extending head coach Jim Harbaugh’s contract following an (extremely) eventful regular season.
Preparing for the College Football Playoff, Harbaugh and the Wolverines are focused on their upcoming showdown against Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.
But by the time we kick that game off, Harbaugh could very well be locked up for the long-term in Ann Arbor.
Considering the constant NFL rumors, that would be somewhat of a surprise.
Speaking of the NFL, a major focal point in the contract is reportedly a “no NFL” clause.
According to Richard Johnson of Sports Illustrated, the pending extension is reportedly for five-years at $11 million a pop.
NEWS: Michigan is working on a contract extension for Jim Harbaugh worth $11M per year/5 years.
The only obstacle here is Harbaugh committing to Michigan and not pursuing an NFL job.

Harbaugh’s Wolverines enter the Playoff as the national title favorites.
They have been the most dominant team in the country all season long, and will look to finish the job for good in a month’s time.

You could easily make a movie on Harbaugh and the 2023 Wolverines.
From his two separate suspensions – to the crazy sign-stealing scandal – to a likely national championship, it’s been an unbelievable ride in Ann Arbor.
How is that a hurdle? If he wanted to be there long term, he would immediately sign that right?

Harbaugh’s relationship with the Big Ten Conference and the NCAA could be a deciding factor in his future, especially with the possibility of further NCAA sanctions for the sign-stealing issue.
Regardless, assuming this report is true, the University is ready to commit to Big Jim for the long-term.
Let him sign it before the NCAA drops the fucking hammer on him and UM lol…..fucking cheaters

Do you believe the report?
Will the extension be agreed to? … Or do you foresee any road-blocks, such as the NFL clause?
Where do you rank Harbaugh among the top coaches in the country???
