Fans Are Going Crazy Over The News Of Who Will Star In “Quarterback” Season 2

The Netflix documentary series “Quarterback” is an absolute must-watch for any football fan.

As many of you know by now, it’s a project spearheaded by Peyton Manning. Season 1 followed Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariota as they battled the highs and lows of the 2022 season.

More so than any other project, “Quarterback” takes you deep behind the scenes as the three deal with all the grinds, both on and off the field, that the NFL season presents.

Everyone is wondering who will be the quarterbacks featured on season 2 of the ultra-popular series?

Reports have recently come out regarding several quarterbacks, such as Justin Herbert, Daniel Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott, Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Fields, Geno Smith and Jalen Hurts who have expressed their disinterest in participating in the series.

Another quarterback who previously said he wasn’t interested in being featured in season 2 was Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow.

“This year, I’m not,” he said. “I would like to do it maybe a couple of years down the road, but I don’t think now is the right time.”

However, it seems like “Joe Cool” has changed his mind!

Former Bengals quarterback Boomer Esiason hinted at Burrow’s involvement in season 2, stating on his radio show: “It sounds like Joe Burrow is doing the ‘Quarterback,’ by the way.”

Longtime NFL writer Peter King has also stated that Burrow will be participating.

This is phenomenal news for football fans. For many, Burrow would be at the absolute top of the list of quarterbacks you would want to see featured on the series.

The first season of “Quarterback” captured the hearts of football fans worldwide, focusing on the lives and experiences of Mahomes, Cousins and Mariota. The series provided an intimate look into their journeys, both on and off the field, and quickly became a hit on the streaming platform.

The series gave many a new-found respect for what NFL quarterbacks have to go through. There truly is no other position like it in all of sports.

Burrow’s alleged inclusion in the show comes after an impressive 2022 season with the Bengals, where he threw for 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions while maintaining an impressive completion rate of 68.3%.

Despite his remarkable performance, the Bengals fell short of a second-straight Super Bowl appearance, as they lost a 23-20 heartbreaker to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Assuming the reports are true, are you excited that Burrow will be featured on season 2?

What do you think of the series?

If it was your decision, who would be the three quarterbacks you would want to see featured?
