DEVASTATED Bills Kicker Tyler Bass DELETES Social Media Accounts After Vicious DEATH THREATS … Did He Cost Buffalo The Season??

It’s been a very rough week for Buffalo Bills Kicker Tyler Bass.

Bass missed a 44-yard field goal against the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday. The routine(ish) kick would have tied the game with under two minutes left.

However, the two worst words in the Buffalonian language proceeded to fill the stadium immediately after the boot – “WIDE RIGHT!!!”

“Ultimately, you can put it on me,” Bass said after the game. “I got to do a better job of keeping my target. I got to do a better job of playing it a little bit more left to right. I’ve been playing here long enough to know you got to do that.”

“It just didn’t work out. I feel terrible. I love this team, and this one hurts bad,” he added.

Bass accepted the blame – but the loss wasn’t solely on him … Not by a long shot.

However, angry Bills fans quickly harassed Bass after the game – some even making death threats, which caused Bass the deactivate his social media accounts.

In fairness to “Bills Mafia,” they are well known for their kindness and charitableness. They weren’t about to let a vocal minority prevent them from trying to lift the spirits of a player in need.

Several fans proceeded to help donate over $100,000 to a cat adoption center which is near and dear to Bass’ heart …

“WE STAND WITH TYLER BASS. DON’T BULLY OUR FRIEND … We just heard the terrible news that Tyler Bass is receiving threats after yesterday’s game and our phones are ringing off the hook from people who want to donate $22 to Ten Lives Club in Tyler’s name … Tyler doesn’t deserve any of the hate he’s receiving. He’s an excellent football player and an even better person who took the time to help our organization and rescue cats last year. Leave our friend alone,” the center posted on Instagram.

Unfortunately, there are always a few bad apples who send death threats in situations like these.

It’s a very dark side of the ugliness of sports fandom…

Hopefully all the knuckleheads come to their senses and leave Bass alone.

We’ll wait and see if he returns to social media…

Talking about actual football for a second – what were your thoughts on the Bills loss?

What changes need to be made in Buffalo?

Do you believe the rumors that head coach Sean McDermott’s job may be in jeopardy???
