Despite Strong Season, Jerry Jones Is Furious With This Micah Parsons Issue … Does He Have A Point??

In a post-game interview on Sunday night, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance against the rival Philadelphia Eagles.

However, he didn’t hold back in criticizing the officiating crew for what he perceived as overlooked holding penalties during the game.

Jones, visibly displeased, remarked: “It’s unbelievable that they can call all those penalties and not call those holdings.”

Jones made it clear that he was upset with the amount of times All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons seems to be held without a flag being thrown.

Parsons, known for his explosiveness on the field, recently addressed the issue.

“It’s frustrating,” he remarked. “I kind of wish people saw it the way I do. I kinda tell the ref, ‘If you just look at me the whole time, you don’t even have to look anywhere else, it’s right there in front of you.’”

As far as the critics who think he embellishes on the field, trying to trick the refs into thinking he’s being held – Parsons would have none of that…

“I’m not into dramatics, man. I just want to kill this guy, whether he got to hold me, whether you’re going to see it. There’s going to be another play. There’s going to be another opportunity. You’ve just got to know when to take it. I’m not going to learn how to be like these basketball players and quarterbacks where I just flail to the ground because some guy is holding me. Then, I can miss the sack because I’m flailing to the ground,” he said.

Whether he’s being held or not, Parsons is extremely hard to block.

Having said that, Jones and Micah would prefer if a flag was thrown every once in a while…

What are your thoughts?

Where do you rank Parsons among the top defensive players in the league???
