Davante Adams Wants Out Of Vegas??: “I Don’t Got Time To Just Wait Around”

Raiders All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams may have had an outstanding performance on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to secure a victory as Vegas fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-18.

Following the disappointing loss, Adams didn’t mince words about his expectations for the team’s future.

Despite Adams’ impressive 13 catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns, the Raiders now hold a 1-2 record for the season, and their struggles extend further, as they stand at 7-13 since Adams joined the team in a 2022 trade.

In a post-game interview, Adams emphasized that it’s time for the team to stop talking about what they need to do differently and start taking action immediately.

“It’s not my mentality to sit here and try to take all season and figure it out,” Adams stated. “You use these early games like this to establish an identity. We’re not doing things the right way to establish a winning culture.”

“We’ve got to go out there and do it. That’s the theme of this year – doing it. Not just talking about it and figuring out what we need to do. We did all that last year. This year we gotta be about it.”

Adams’ candid remarks shed light on his sense of urgency and frustration with the team’s current trajectory.

The Raiders have been vocal about their efforts to build a consistent winning team, particularly after bringing in head coach Josh McDaniels and General Manager Dave Ziegler.

High-profile acquisitions like Adams signaled the organization’s intent to contend immediately, but their results have fallen short of expectations.

What do you make of Adams’ growing frustration?

Do you think the Raiders will turn things around?

Or is it only a matter of time before Adams wants out?
