Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes are one of the biggest storylines in all of college football.ย
Shedeur and his father/coach Deion (have you heard of him?) came to Colorado from Jackson State, where they secured consecutive SWAC Championships in 2021 and 2022.
Having made the leap to the highest level of college football together, Shedeur spoke about what the differences are between the FCS and FBS.
According to Shedeur, the difference isn’t as massive as what most people think.ย
“The only difference between FCS and this level is the D-line get off blocks if you try to scramble up faster,” he revealed. “Everything else, you’ve got good players, good DBs, good receivers, everything like that. You just have more of those on the field at once.”

He emphasized the overall talent level in the FBS, acknowledging that not every player on the field was bound for the first round of the NFL Draft. Shedeur conveyed a fearless mentality towards facing well-known opponents, stating: “When you fear names, that’s half the battle.”
Do you agree with Shedeur’s comments? Or do you think he’s downplaying the difference between the two levels?
What are your thoughts of Shedeur as an NFL Draft prospect?
Does he have what it takes to be a franchise quarterback one day?
