Buckeyes Legend Reaches Out to Mike Vrabel After He Was Let Go by The Titans

Former Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett has voiced his desire for former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel to consider a return to Columbus as Ohio State’s next head football coach. Vrabel was released by the Titans on Tuesday, prompting Clarett to suggest that Vrabel takes a break or avoids signing a long-term agreement, giving him the opportunity to potentially join Ohio State in the future.

“Chill for 12 months big dog or don’t sign a long-term agreement with anyone. You’re already rich, so you don’t need the bread. Go hang out with the family. Columbus would be on fire if you returned,” Clarett tweeted.

Expressing admiration for Vrabel, Clarett highlighted the coach’s successful six-year stint with the Titans and his background as a former defensive end at Ohio State. While Ryan Day remains Ohio State’s head coach for at least another year, Clarett envisions Vrabel making a return to the university, even if it might be a long shot compared to potential NFL opportunities.
