Believe it or not, we are inching closer and closer to the start of the NFL season.
Sure, we still have to “get through” the entire summer, but the fact of the matter is we are now less than four months away from the start of the regular season.
Last night’s schedule release was a great reminder than the season is slowly but surely creeping up.
To stoke the excitement even further, let’s take a look at the top 10 BEST games of the entire upcoming season…
#10: Chicago Bears @ Washington Commanders: Week 8
Caleb Williams vs. Jayden Daniels.
While this is far from a playoff preview, it will be very fun (and telling) to see the top two picks in the draft compete against each other – assuming Daniels wins the starting spot in Washington.
#9. Pittsburgh Steelers @ Denver Broncos: Week 2
Russell Wilson returns to Denver!
Oh baby, this will be a juicy one. There’s nothing Wilson would love more than to stick it to Broncos head coach Sean Payton…and vice-versa.
#8. Detroit Lions @ Dallas Cowboys: Week 6
Revenge for Detroit.
The entire football world knows the Lions got royally screwed by the refs last year in Dallas. While they have bigger goals in mind, a taste of revenge in Big D would be sweet for Dan Campbell and company.
#7. Baltimore Ravens @ Los Angeles Chargers: Week 12
The “Harbaugh Bowl” … Or “HarBowl” if you prefer.
Jim returns to the NFL seeking to win what his brother John already has: the Lombardi Trophy. They may love each other to death, but there’s nothing the brothers love more than beating the hell out of each other on the football field.
#6. Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans: Week 5
The Stefon Diggs Bowl.
Sure, this would be even sexier if the game was played in front of Bills Mafia. There’s no downplaying the fact that things ended ugly for Diggs in Buffalo. Josh Allen will look to shut him up one final time come Week 5.
#5. Baltimore Ravens @ Kansas City Chiefs: Week 1
Opening night rematch.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have to be getting sick and tired of losing to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. We’ll see if Baltimore can finally turn the tide this time around.
#4. New York Jets @ San Francisco 49ers: Week 1
Déjà vu all over again.
Aaron Rodgers makes his long-awaited return to the field, and it just so happens to be on yet another Monday Night Football opener. This time around Rodgers will head west to play the team he grew up rooting for.
#3. Cincinnati Bengals @ Kansas City Chiefs: Week 2
The boogeyman returns.
Joe Burrow has proven to be the kryptonite to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Back healthy, will Burrow prove to be the main roadblock in the Chiefs quest for a historic three-peat?
#2. Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers: Week 17
Back and better than ever.
The Detroit Lions won’t be sneaking up on anyone anymore. The entire league knows they’re for real. Rich man Jared Goff and company will seek to avenge their heartbreaking NFC Championship loss to the Niners – a game they know they should have won.

Super Bowl rematch … Need I say more?
The Chiefs and 49ers are still arguably the two best teams in all of football. It has got to be killing Kyle Shanahan and company to have two Lombardi Trophies ripped from their grasps by Andy Reid and the Chiefs.
