BREAKING: Shannon Sharpe Reveals New Sports Media Role After Exiting FS1

Following his exit from FS1’s ‘Undisputed’, Shannon Sharpe has revealed his upcoming venture. Although anticipated to team up with Stephen A. Smith on ‘First Take’, Sharpe hasn’t finalized a deal with ESPN. However, he has confirmed that his podcast ‘Club Shay Shay’ will now be part of Colin Cowherd’s The Volume network.

Both Sharpe and Cowherd unveiled this decision in a recent video. Interestingly, it seemed like Cowherd might have been caught off guard by the news. Whether that was staged or genuine remains ambiguous.

“The thing that really sold me was the partnership,” Sharpe said. “Throughout this process, everybody that was involved with “The Volume” always said we’re a partnership. We’re going to build you. Now that we’re partners and we’re in business together, let’s go do great things, bro.”

Given their shared history at FS1, Sharpe and Cowherd probably have a solid rapport. In the same video, Cowherd lauded Sharpe’s dedication, reflecting on the strong impression Sharpe left during their time at FOX.

Speculation is rife about Sharpe potentially joining Smith’s dynamic debate team at ESPN. Reports suggest ESPN aims to feature him twice a week, so his future role there remains a topic of intrigue.

While Cowherd may have reservations about Sharpe collaborating with ESPN during their partnership, Sharpe’s proven track record of juggling ‘Club Shay Shay’ alongside ‘Undisputed’ indicates he can efficiently manage both commitments.
