BREAKING: Joel Klatt Reports That There’s “Tension” Between Jim Harbaugh & The Powers That Be At Michigan

When you look at the Michigan Wolverines, it’s hard to deny that this is the best team that head coach Jim Harbaugh has had during his tenure in Ann Arbor.

Simply put, Michigan is legitimate national title contenders … And I mean LEGITIMATE.

Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide are having a down-year, at least for their massively high-standards … You could make the case that the back-to-back national champion Georgia Bulldogs are as well (although I won’t).

We know that all roads lead to the Big House on that final Saturday of the regular season. We know that epic showdown against the hated Ohio State Buckeyes will have at least one Playoff spot on the line.

This is the year, more than any other, that Harbaugh and the Wolverines MUST capitalize … The national title is right there for the taking.

All of this is why it was so alarming to hear FOX lead college football analyst Joel Klatt’s report that there is (still) friction between Harbaugh and the powers that be at Michigan.

Appearing on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” Klatt raised eyebrows as he discussed the dynamics surrounding Harbaugh’s standing at Michigan.

“The dynamic with (Harbaugh) and his leadership at Michigan is interesting. I believe that there is some tension, and it’s the reason why the president had to jump in and do the new contract.”

Cowherd, a Harbaugh-supporter followed up by stating: “You can find another AD. There’s another accountant somewhere in the Midwest. I’m not getting rid of the president, and I’m not getting rid of Harbaugh.”

Clearly Michigan fans were not happy to hear all of this…

“A rare time I agree with the Herd. It would take us 20 minutes to find an upgrade from for Warde. We’ll never find a better HC for UM than Jim. Doesn’t exist. No disrespect to the softball coach, but I struggle to think of one great hire he’s made so far. And Warde is passive.”

“For once Colin is right. You can find another AD that can accomplish what Warde has. Finding another Harbaugh isn’t as easy.”

“How is Warde still here? Honestly I don’t understand. He’s trying so hard to fumble the Harbaugh bag so badly for no reason. None.”

What do you make of Klatt’s report?

Should everyone at Michigan just get the hell out of Harbaugh’s way and let him do his thing?

They would forever regret it if they mistakenly (or intentionally) run Big Jim out of town.
