“BLOWING UP IN THEIR FACES!!”: Lead NFL Insider Destroys “Cheap” Jerry Jones For Sleeping At The Wheel On Key Extensions … Is He THE Problem In Dallas??

No matter who you are or where you live, every single one of us has Dallas Cowboy fans in our lives. And we all must remember to be extra patient with them this offseason.

After all, it’s easy to understand why they are so cranky these days.

After being promised by the Jones family that the organization was going to be “all-in” on fielding the best team possible for 2024, they have since gone on to have one of the quietest and least-productive off-seasons of any team in the NFL.

“I feel as good any time going into the offseason as I can remember,” Jones said at the start of the off-season.

After witnesses the Cowboys crash and burn in epic fashion against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs, Dallas fans weren’t quite in the mood to hear about sunshine and rainbows.

Actions speak much louder than words. They wanted Jones to put his money where his mouth is and bolster the team properly.

Yet, all Dallas fans have heard to this point is crickets.

Oh wait! Sorry! I forgot all about the Ezekiel Elliot signing…

Owner Jerry Jones and the front office have a whole lot of work to do.

In the big picture, they have to make firm decisions on the long-term futures of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons.

Locking up any of the three won’t come cheap – let alone all of them.

You can count Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk as one of the many who are getting sick and tired of watching Jones sit on his hands.

“When in the hell will the Cowboys gonna get their young star players taken care of? When are the Cowboys gonna wake up? When are they gonna stop being cheap, short-sighted and not as smart as they think they are, when it comes to dealing with their star players? It keeps blowing up in their faces!” Florio angrily stated.

Despite the Cowboys consistent success in the regular season, boasting one of the best records in the NFL over the past decade, they have repeatedly stumbled when it matters most in the postseason.

Simply “running it back” in 2024 is a very dangerous proposition.

Don’t get me wrong. Despite their postseason failures, the Cowboys do possess a very solid core.

Talent is not an enormous problem for them – although there are multiple holes on the roster that they’ve still yet to address.

Jones holding onto head coach Mike McCarthy is another decision that Cowboy fans have to feel a little nervous about entering the new season.

As speculation swirls regarding the reasons behind the delay in hammering out contract extension for Dallas’ stars, all eyes continue to be on Jones.

It’s more than fair to wonder if the front office is willing to just let Prescott play out the final year of his deal and assess the situation after the season.

Meanwhile, it would be stunning if extensions aren’t worked out for both Lamb and Parsons.

Although there are rumors that Jones and the Cowboys have grown sick of Parsons and his “diva” attitude.

Maybe those rumors are true. Maybe they aren’t. But other than the playoff game against Green Bay, Parsons has proven to be a consistent game-wrecker on the field.

What are your thoughts on the Cowboys off-season so far?

Do you agree with Florio that Jones is being extremely cheap?

Is Jones the primary problem in Dallas? … Or is he simply playing chess while the rest of us sit at the kids table playing checkers?

At the end of the day, will the Cowboys work out an extension for their stars?

If not, which one(s) will be shown the door???
