Bill Belichick is widely regarded as the greatest coach in NFL history. Sure, there are a small amount of people who disagree, but they’re only trying to be difficult.
With six Super Bowl victories and three Coach of the Year awards under his belt, his legacy is forever cemented in football history.
As he embarks on his 29th season as a head coach, 24 of which have been with the Patriots, questions have arisen about what motivates him to continue his remarkable career.
During a recent press conference prior to the Patriots season-opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, Belichick was asked what drives him to keep coaching and strive for yet another Lombardi Trophy.
Question: What do you love about this that keeps you going, to try to get this team to a championship? You came in and broke down the Eagles, and you’ve done that for 49 years…
Bill Belichick: “It’s what I do.”
Question: Why?
BB: “I enjoy it. Beats working for a living.”

Needless to say, this is a vintage Belichick answer – short and sweet.
Although, you never quite know what you’re going to get out of the old teddy bear…
You'll never see Bill Belichick happier than you will at the end of this video 😄
Belichick was asked by a reporter why do teams hold a Long Snapper instead of using a position player and saving a roster spot.

Belichick’s work ethic and commitment to the game have earned him the respect of (most of) the football world. Throughout his illustrious career, he has demonstrated an unparalleled ability to adapt to changing circumstances, develop talent, and make masterful strategic decisions on the fly.
With the Patriots set to honor Tom Brady tomorrow, the scene in New England will surely be a special one.
How much longer do you think Belichick will coach?
Will he win another Super Bowl?
