The Dallas Cowboys flexed their muscle on Sunday night as they beat down the hated Philadelphia Eagles 33-13.
At 10-3, they are right in the thick of the NFC playoff picture and there is a strong feeling that these Boys are different than the Dallas teams of recent memory.
You can’t blame owner Jerry Jones for feeling quite good about his squad. His head coach finally seems to be turning the corner and his much-criticized quarterback is a legitimate MVP contender.
Having said all of this, Jones needs to be careful not to get too cocky … We know that’s been a major problem for him and the organization in the past.
All of this is why some Cowboy fans cringed when they heard what Jones’ postgame message to Philadelphia was following the dominant victory.
In an exact quote from Jones, directed to Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, he said: “God, I hope we get to play again.”
Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones told Eagles’ Jeffrey Lurie tonight: “God, I hope we get to play again.”
Could postseason rematch await?

On second thought, who are we kidding? – It would be a tough task to find a single Cowboy fan who doesn’t love Jones’ confidence and bravado.
Like I said, there does seem to be something different about THIS Dallas team.

If the two bitter rivals were to meet in the postseason, Jones has every right to feel confident in his team.
Despite Philly’s strong 10-3 record, they clearly aren’t the same team as last year and quarterback Jalen Hurts seems to have regressed.
What do you think of the Cowboys this season?
Where do you rank them among the top Super Bowl contenders in the NFL???
