As the countdown to the college football season intensifies, the electrifying hype surrounding Arch Manning shows no signs of slowing down.
The prodigy quarterback, hailing from the famous First-Family-of-Football, is reportedly growing and improving by the day down in Austin.
Reports from Texas’ recent scrimmage on Saturday have put Manning front and center in the spotlight.
“According to my sources, Texas freshman QB Arch Manning looked incredible during Saturday’s scrimmage,” Orangebloods.com reporter Anwar Richardson tweeted (X’d?). “He scored on a 70-yard touchdown run on an improvised play. He also was incredibly accurate throughout the day. I’m told he looked better than any other backup QB.”

It is important to note that Longhorns Head Coach Steve Sarkisian has named Quinn Ewers the starting quarterback for Texas’ September 2nd season-opener against Rice.
However, there’s rumblings that if Ewers should truly falter at any point during the season, fans will be calling for Manning to take over.
Talk about pressure…
On a scale of 1-10, how likely is it that Arch Manning will unseat Quinn Ewers?

Clearly, Manning has been putting in the work, both on and off the field…
Texas enters the season ranked #12 in the preseason coaches poll. They are favored to win the Big 12 in their final year in the conference.
Some fans and analysts even look at the Longhorns as a potential Playoff team.
There’s a chance Manning may not play at all this season. He may even redshirt. Sarkisian has previously stated the importance of tempering expectations for the famous nephew of Peyton and Eli.
Regardless, with a last name like his, the hype and hoopla won’t be quieting down anytime soon (probably never).
Do you think Manning will take over for Ewers at any point this season?
Would it be best for him to redshirt?
In the big picture, fair or unfair, do you think he will end up living up to his last name?
