Miraculously, the Chicago Bears are one of the hottest teams in football … But it’s too bad it took them this long to get their act together.Β
The hot streak has most likely saved head coach Matt Eberflus’ job … But what about quarterback Justin Fields?
The former first round pick is one of the biggest lightning rods in the league. Opinions on him and his potential vary enormously.Β
The Chicago Sun-Times recently reported that the Atlanta Falcons could emerge as a potential trade destination for Fields should the Bears decide to move on from the former Ohio State star.
In Thursday's Chicago Sun-Times, our Jason Lieser writes that among the potential landing spots for Justin Fields next season, the Falcons make a lot of sense for the Georgia native. https://t.co/FGL9BjbgwD pic.twitter.com/n8DX1MLRJk

You get the sense that Fields really wants to make it work in Chicago. The team seems to love him, and his commitment and dedication have never been called into question.
However, Fields is from Georgia, so a potential move to the Falcons might be intriguing for him.
Also, the Bears have officially locked-up the first overall pick in April’s draft (thanks to the horrific Carolina Panthers).
The front office will have to decide whether they want to build around Fields and potentially trade the pick to a quarterback-desperate team … Or if they want to draft Drake Maye or Caleb Williams, and in turn trade Fields to a team like Atlanta as the report suggests.Β
As far as what it might take to acquire Fields – Some speculate that the Bears will be able to pull in a first round draft pick.

Multiple execs around the league believe that the #Bears can net a first round pick in return for Justin Fields.

Chicago is desperate for a winner (and consistent quarterback play).
For better or worse, the upcoming decisions they make will dramatically alter the future of the franchise.
I'm not on the Justin Fields to Atlanta bandwagon either. Justin would cost significant draft capital, and you gotta pay him the very next season, and we still don't know if he's "the guy"

What do you think the Bears should do?
Is Fields truly THE guy?
Should Chicago trade him, especially if they can fetch a first rounder in return?
Or are you a believer that Fields can be a franchise quarterback who can one day win a Super Bowl???
