WATCH: Longtime Lion Killer Aaron Rodgers Gives Brutally Honest Take On Detroit FINALLY Winning The Division…

Despite taking only four snaps this season, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers remains in the news cycle on a weekly basis.

That of course is heavily attributed to his extremely-entertaining weekly appearances on The Pat McAfee Show.

Rodgers’ old team, the Green Bay Packers, have had quite a roller-coaster season under new quarterback Jordan Love.

You know new times are upon us in the NFC North when the Detroit Lions actually win the division … That’s precisely what happened this past weekend when Dan Campbell’s club clinched the franchise’s first division title in 30 years.

If you expected Rodgers to be happy for the long-suffering Lions and their fans, you can think again,

Even though he wears a different shade of green these days, the four-time MVP made it clear he’s still a Packer at heart.

“I’m not happy. Although I’m in New York, I still want the green and gold to take the North every year. But they’ve got a good football team, Jared’s had a really nice season. Obviously [Amon-Ra] St. Brown is a fantastic receiver … two really good backs … line’s really good on both sides of the ball, defense has been playing good. … I think the NFC’s really deep,” Rodgers said on the McAfee show.

Detroit secured its first division title since the 1993 season with a hard-fought 30-24 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Eve.

The Lions, who had been on the cusp of success for some time, finally broke through, much to the delight of their loyal fanbase who have had to sit through some brutal football over the years.

What do you make of Rodgers’ take?

Should he be happy for the Lions that they have finally broken through?

Or do you respect his allegiance to Green Bay – even though he’s moved on to New York?

As far as the Lions are concerned, do you look at them as legitimate Super Bowl contenders this season???
