It’s clear that former All-Pro defensive end Chandler Jones is going through a rough time.
Hopefully he’s able to get some help soon because he seems to be heading down a very dark path as disturbing incidents involving him seem to be popping up more and more frequently.
His latest episode involved a run-in with law enforcement in Arizona.
Jones posted video of the interaction on his Instagram account. The footage revealed officers from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in his yard, explaining that they were responding to a call about him allegedly burning furniture in his backyard.
In the video, Jones denied the accusation, urging the officers not to approach him.
“We got a phone call that you were burning your furniture,” the officers informed Jones, to which he insisted that the fire was contained.

In a separate daytime video, likely from a different incident, an officer is seen telling Jones, “Mr. Jones, we’ve got to talk about why we’re here now.”
The recording abruptly ends as a phone call interrupts, with Jones audibly heard screaming, “Wait, wait, no!”
The officers, attempting to defuse the situation, can be heard explaining that they are “there to help” before the video concludes.

This latest episode adds to a series of disturbing incidents for Jones, who has faced legal troubles in recent months.
TMZ reported that Jones had been arrested twice in Las Vegas for violations of a domestic violence temporary protection order.
The Raiders decided to cut ties with Jones after his first arrest in September. Despite his talent as one of the best pass rushers on the market, there has been virtually no interest in signing him.
