Thankfully, the College Football Playoff is quickly approaching.
New Years Day will give us two near-perfect matchups: Michigan-Alabama and Washington-Texas.
As exciting as the Huskies-Longhorns matchup is, I think I speak for most of the country when I say I’m most looking forward to the Wolverine-Tide clash.
Two of the best teams. Two of the biggest brands. Two of the greatest coaches of all-time (okay, maybe a tad premature with Jim Harbaugh) … Throw in the fact that the game is taking place at the gorgeous Rose Bowl – Wow, what a scene that will be.
FWIW: The B-2 Stealth Bomber is making a return for this year's Rose Bowl matchup between No. 1 Michigan and No. 4 Alabama.

Michigan boasts a perfect record of 13-0 and are entering the playoff with confidence and a massive chip on their shoulder.
On the other side, 12-1 Alabama enters with a world of momentum, fresh off knocking off the hated Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game.
ESPN college football analyst Greg McElroy shared his insights on the upcoming matchup during a recent episode of the Always College Football podcast.
“This is an excellent group,” McElroy said of Michigan. “They can grind you out offensively, they can make you go distance defensively. They’re extremely opportunistic and they’re remarkably well-coached.”
“They’re an elite team and will be a difficult team to beat in the College Football Playoff,” he added.

In other words, if you thought you were going to get some biased, home-cooking analysis from the former Alabama quarterback, you’re out of luck.
What are your thoughts on the matchup?
As hot as they are, do the Tide truly have enough punch to beat the Wolverines?
What’s your prediction for both Playoff games???
