EJ Smith, the son of legendary Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, has officially entered the college football transfer portal.
Smith just concluded his fourth year at Stanford, wrapping up the season with a modest performance, amassing 216 rushing yards, 242 receiving yards, and one touchdown.
Over the course of his tenure at Stanford, he’s totaled 555 rushing yards and five touchdowns to go along with 60 receptions for 384 yards.

Now, he’s looking for a new home for his final two years of college football eligibility.
Several prominent programs, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Texas A&M, had extended offers to the former four-star recruit during his high school days.
However, the level of interest those schools currently have in Smith is unknown at this time.
