“AIN’T UP FOR DEBATE!!”: Deebo Samuel Thinks It’s Insulting To Not Realize Who The Obvious MVP Is … Do You Agree With Him??

In a recent interview with Kay Adams on her “Up & Adams” show, San Francisco 49ers star wide receiver Deebo Samuel left no room for speculation about who he believes deserves the NFL MVP title this season.

“Man, my boy (Brock Purdy) is number one right now. It ain’t even up for debate,” Samuel said.

“He’s just got to keep stacking games, stacking days, stacking weeks. We got to go out here and continue to make plays for him, and I think he’ll get the job done as far as the MVP conversation,” he declared emphatically.

Purdy has been arguably the best story in all of football … From “Mr. Irrelevant” to potential MVP and Super Bowl champion, his journey has been nothing short of magical.

“I don’t think that’s his ideal goal as far as something that he really wants to accomplish right now … I think, at the end of the day, as a whole, as a group, as a team, we want to be standing there at the end of the year holding the Lombardi Trophy,” Samuel said, acknowledging Purdy’s unselfish, team-oriented mindset.

Despite Purdy’s remarkable season and the MVP buzz surrounding him, both he and Samuel are keeping their eyes on the ultimate prize – the Super Bowl.

San Francisco currently holds the second seed in the NFC standings with an impressive 9–3 record, having secured a crucial tiebreaker with Sunday’s victory over the one-seeded Eagles.

Most people agree that the 49ers are the best team in the NFL.

The “best team” doesn’t always win the Super Bowl however … Kyle Shanahan’s team knows they need to stay healthy and play up to their potential in order to be the last team standing in February.

Do you agree with Samuel that Purdy is currently the MVP favorite?

Where do you rank Purdy among the top quarterbacks in the NFL?

The big question – Will the 49ers win the Super Bowl???
