Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson has addressed Trevor Lawrence’s injury, which occurred during Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Jaguars endured a tough overtime loss, and Lawrence suffered an ankle injury that forced him out of the game.
Backup quarterback CJ Beathard stepped in and had an impressive performance, completing 9 out of 10 passes for 63 yards.
Despite the disappointing loss and Lawrence’s injury, there is some positive news for Jaguars fans. Coach Pederson has confirmed that Lawrence’s injury is a high ankle sprain and does not involve any significant damage.
Pederson provided an update on Tuesday, stating, “Everything’s stable, everything looks good.”

This update suggests that Lawrence may have a chance to play in the upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns, which is a more optimistic outlook compared to wide receiver Christian Kirk, who suffered a “core muscle injury” during the same game and is expected to miss some time as a result.
