What a weekend of football we had … From the high-stakes drama of the college football conference championship games to yesterday’s full slate of NFL action.
Unfortunately, yesterday also provided us with two of the more gruesome injuries you’ll see on a football field.
The first one involved Tennessee Titans punter Ryan Stonehouse.
During the fourth quarter of the Titans game against the Indianapolis Colts, Stonehouse attempted a punt – only to have THIS happen…

Meanwhile, in New Orleans the Saints were taking on the Detroit Lions in one of the biggest games of the day.
In the second quarter, Saints running back Alvin Kamara was hit along the sideline, sending him out of bounds – and unfortunately, right into an unsuspecting official…

That’s a bad one…
The game came to a halt as medical personnel rushed to attend to the injured official.
The Lions would go on to win the game 33-28, improving them to an impressive 9-3 on the season.
What is the most gruesome on-field injury you’ve seen in football?
