Amazon Prime Video commentator Al Michaels didn’t pull any punches when he playfully teased Dallas Cowboys star defensive back DaRon Bland during the “Thursday Night Football” matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Bland, who had been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for November, found himself on the receiving end of a 73-yard touchdown pass to Seattle wide receiver D.K. Metcalf early in the opening quarter, which was captured on video.

Michaels seized the opportunity to have some fun at Bland’s expense, delivering a light-hearted roast after the significant play.

It’s worth noting that despite the occasional hiccup, Bland has had an impressive season, including setting a record for pick-sixes in a season with five interceptions. He added to his tally with another interception during the Thanksgiving home game against the Washington Commanders, bringing his total interceptions for the year to a league-leading seven.
