In a disappointing turn of events for Ohio State football fans, the Buckeyes suffered their third consecutive defeat to arch-rivals Michigan.
The loss has sparked discussions among fans about the need for a change in the program, extending beyond the coaching staff.
The latest suggestion gaining traction comes from former Buckeyes star Maurice Clarett, who took to social media to encourage highly-touted quarterback Arch Manning to consider a transfer to Ohio State.
Manning, the nephew of Super Bowl champions Eli and Peyton Manning, showcased his skills in his debut for Texas last Friday night.
The Longhorns dominated Texas Tech with a resounding 57-7 victory, securing their spot in the Big 12 Championship Game and keeping them alive for Playoff consideration.
Clarett believes that Manning is just what the Buckeyes need in order to get back on track…
“Come on Dawg… Get in that transfer portal. We will have your whole life turnt up. I know your whole family paid, but ain’t nothing like being a star at an elite school. Quinn Ewers ain’t going nowhere soon. @peytonmanning @archmanning think about it big dawg,” Clarett posted on social media.

Manning’s future at Texas will be one of the biggest storylines of the upcoming offseason.
Will Quinn Ewers pass up the NFL Draft and return to Austin? … If he does, Manning would likely to stuck on the bench for yet another season.
Could he consider transferring to Ohio State?
The speculation isn’t exactly fair to current Buckeyes quarterback, Kyle McCord, who has been very impressive this season.
McCord has showed plenty of promise. He’s thrown for 3,170 yards, 24 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
