With Super Bowl On Their Minds, The Dolphins Sign 3-Time Pro Bowler & 2-Time Champion For Stretch Run…

Jason Pierre-Paul is back!

The Miami Dolphins are reportedly signing the free-agent pass rusher with the hopes that he will provide a boost of energy and experience to their defense.

“Sources: The Dolphins are expected to sign free agent pass-rusher Jason Pierre-Paul off the Saints practice squad and onto their 53-man roster,” NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

“A big-name edge addition after the Jaelan Phillips injury … The Florida native lands in Miami.”

The 34-year-old veteran, who has had an illustrious NFL career, is best known for his dominant seasons with the New York Giants.

JPP’s impressive career statistics include 632 tackles, 94 sacks, 21 forced fumbles, 10 fumble recoveries, and five interceptions.

Most impressively, he’s won two Super Bowls … One with the Giants and another with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the recent injury to Phillips, the Dolphins have acted swiftly to secure a formidable replacement in the seasoned pass rusher.

Pierre-Paul’s wealth of experience and knack for disrupting opposing offenses is expected to provide a significant boost to Miami’s defense as they gear up for the crucial stretch run of the season.

What are your thoughts on the signing?

How much does JPP have left in the tank?

Will he be a factor down the stretch in Miami???
