Cleveland Browns Sign Former Super Bowl MVP Quarterback Following Sunday’s Victory

Following a hard-fought victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns were gearing up for another significant move. Joe Flacco’s successful workout with the Browns on Friday paved the way for his imminent signing, a decision finalized just hours after the team’s triumphant clash with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.

The Browns were keen to secure Flacco’s presence swiftly, aiming to have him on board before commencing preparations for the upcoming Sunday game in Denver.

Considering Flacco’s previous starting experience in games last season, the Browns view him as more than just a mentor to Thompson-Robinson. They hope his seasoned guidance will propel the Browns towards playoff success and potentially clinching the AFC North crown.

However, Flacco has faced challenges in recent times, recording a 3-14 record in his last 17 starts with the Broncos and Jets since parting ways with Baltimore after the 2018 season.

In the previous year, Flacco made significant contributions to the Jets, participating in five games and starting four. During this period, he completed 57.6 percent of his passes, amassing 1,051 yards, five touchdowns, and three interceptions.
