Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Son Cast As Tim Tebow In Television Series

The upcoming “American Sports Story” anthology series on FOX is gearing up to delve into the tumultuous tale of former New England Patriots and Florida Gators tight end Aaron Hernandez. The spotlight will extend to legendary Gators quarterback Tim Tebow, with Patrick Schwarzenegger, son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, set to portray the iconic football figure.

Announced by Deadline earlier this month, the casting features Josh Andrés Rivera as Aaron Hernandez and Patrick Schwarzenegger as Tim Tebow for the first installment of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series on FX. The series draws inspiration from the gripping podcast “Gladiator: Aaron Hernandez and Football Inc,” a collaboration between the Boston Globe and Wondery, unraveling the compelling narrative of the rise and fall of the former NFL tight end.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the role, Patrick Schwarzenegger shared the exciting news on social media, stating, “Also. Pumped to formally announce that I’m playing Tim Tebow in the FX series on Aaron Hernandez. Wild & insane story. Thankful to @ryanmurphyprod for giving me the opportunity & believing in me!”

The casting decisions were reportedly finalized in early 2023 but were kept under wraps until recently due to undisclosed circumstances. The series aims to chronicle the gripping events surrounding Aaron Hernandez’s life, including his conviction for murder while playing for the New England Patriots and his subsequent death in prison.
