Clayton Kershaw is one of the best pitchers of this generation … Despite his struggles in big games, no one can deny his overall greatness.
He is a sure-fire Hall of Famer and his resume speaks for itself.
Recently undergoing shoulder surgery, many wonder whether he wants to keep playing … And if he does, are the Los Angeles Dodgers interested in keeping him?
Well, wonder no further about the second part … Club President Andrew Friedman has made the team’s intentions clear in a statement to the Los Angeles Times.
“(We’re) giving them the time and space to make the best decision for their family. But selfishly, we hope it’s for him to continue and finish his career in Dodger blue,” Friedman said, outlining the team’s stance on Kershaw’s future.
Andrew Friedman said Clayton Kershaw's shoulder surgery hasn't changed the club's hope of him returning next year

The 35-year-old Kershaw had a strong 2023 (regular) season. He went 13-5 and had an impressive 2.46 ERA
However, his playoff troubles haunted him once again as he bombed out of his start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Lasting just a third of an inning (!!!), Kershaw allowed 6 earned runs which helped doom the Dodgers in the 11-2 blowout loss.
Clayton Kershaw’s shoulder surgery won’t impact the Dodgers’ potential pursuit of a reunion, Andrew Friedman said today. Shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

What is your take on Kershaw?
Should he come back for another season?
Should the Dodgers be as interested as they are???
