It’s no secret that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is in the middle of the worst season of his life.
At 2-7, the Pats are going nowhere fast – and every single day we hear new rumors about what the future might hold for Belichick.
As the season crumbles faster than a Nature Valley bar, Belichick has told the chronically-troubled J.C. Jackson that he doesn’t want him flying with the team to Germany.

The Patriots of course will play the Indianapolis Colts in Frankfurt on Sunday.
Belichick acquired Jackson from the Los Angeles Chargers hoping he’d be willing and able to make the most of a second chance … Apparently, he has no interest in doing so.
Reports have come out about him violating curfew and arriving late to the team hotel last Saturday.
For someone with as many strikes as Jackson, the leash is obviously very, very short … And yet, he still shows no signs of growing up and acting like a professional…

The Chargers foolishly gave Jackson a massive five-year, $82.5 million contract.

Following a string of selfish and childish moves (to go along with extremely poor play on the field), general manager Tom Telesco decided to bite the bullet on the horrific contract and ship him out of town.
To his credit, Telesco apologized to the team for bringing in such a toxic player to the locker room…
Per Kris Rhim: Tom Telesco apologized to the DB room for the J.C. Jackson signing after he was traded to the Patriots.

Despite trying to send a message to Jackson by telling him to stay home, the truth is the way Belichick handled this situation speaks to how much he’s changed.
For better or worse, the “old Belichick” (aka “the dynast Belichick”) would have flat-out cut Jackson … That Belichick wouldn’t have put up with his garbage for even one second (especially since the Patriots have very little financial responsibility tied to Jackson).
However, with a new day seems to have brought a new Belichick.
Patriots C David Andrews on the message it sends that J.C. Jackson won't travel to Germany:
“The biggest thing is being committed to the team. That’s something I’ve always tried to preach and live by. The team comes first.”

What do you make of his decision?
What the hell is wrong with Jackson? … Will he ever grow up?
As far as Belichick, what do you think the future holds for him???
