The Los Angeles Rams may have lost a tough one to the Green Bay Packers yesterday … But head coach Sean McVay still walked away a winner – at least off-the-field.
McVay’s wife Veronika Khomyn recently gave birth to the couple’s first child.
The pair celebrated the arrival of their baby boy, Jordan John McVay … The joyous news was shared by the Rams, who announced the birth in the unique style of a formal roster transaction.
“Delivered Jordan John McVay,” the Los Angeles Rams tweeted.

In the weeks leading up to the birth, there were concerns about the timing conflicting with the Rams schedule.
McVay had said that in the event of his wife going into labor on a game-day, he would step away from coaching, prioritizing his wife and the much-anticipated birth…
Fortunately, young Jordan’s timely arrival eliminated any potential conflict, allowing McVay to focus on his coaching duties…
Despite the joyful occasion, McVay acknowledged the challenges of balancing new fatherhood with his coaching responsibilities…
“I’m tired,” McVay recently confessed.
“I’m getting caught up, but with everything that went on, I’m way behind … I still have a lot of work to do. Everything is good, but the sleep thing is real…”
McVay, known for his meticulous attention to detail, explained the significance of maintaining a consistent rhythm and routine, expressing a determination to ensure his players feel supported and prepared…
“I can be a little edgy and irritable when that gets a little off,” McVay admitted.
“So most importantly, it’s about our players feeling good. I’ll just have a little extra work to do on the back end to get up to speed, and there is plenty of time to do that…”
“The lack of sleep earlier in the week, I have taken pretty good care of myself for the most part this year, and sh*t is real when you lose it … That’s what you are sensing from me right now,” he added…
The 20-3 loss to the Packers at Lambeau Field dropped the Rams to 3-6 on the season.
Needless to say, McVay has plenty of work to do to try and save the season…
But thanks to Veronika and little Jordan, at least he has plenty to be happy about off-the-field…
