Heartbreaking Pete Rose Death Details Revealed

New details have emerged regarding the death of MLB hits leader Pete Rose, revealing that employees at his Las Vegas residence attempted to check on him just hours before he was found deceased.

According to a 911 call obtained by TMZ, staff at Panorama Towers, where Rose lived, had concerns and tried to contact him but received no response.

The 911 call sheds light on the events leading up to Rose’s death on September 30.

Workers at the luxury condominium reportedly knocked on Rose’s door approximately two hours before he was discovered by his son, but despite hearing a television blaring from inside, Rose did not answer.

“There was concerns earlier as far as Pete Rose’s situation because he was shaking and he wasn’t answering the door,” a worker could be heard telling the 911 operator.

“He wasn’t responsive, so now he has family and friends out here trying to get on property. But we have this one gentleman that’s here portraying to be Metro and we can’t confirm if he’s Metro or not.”

After failing to reach Rose, staff notified his son, who later arrived at the apartment and found his father had passed away.

The medical examiner determined that Rose died from natural causes, attributing his death to hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

The 911 tape also captured a moment of confusion when a man, reportedly a family friend, attempted to gain access to the property by claiming to be a Las Vegas Metro Police officer.

Rose had spent the day before his death in Nashville, attending an autograph signing where he reunited with former teammates from his championship-winning Cincinnati Reds teams of 1975 and 1976.

The baseball icon’s death has prompted widespread tributes from fans and former players, remembering his legendary career and his countless contributions to the game.

RIP.
