MAXX ON THE MOVE??: Maxx Crosby Reveals His Brutally Honest Future Plans … Will The Raiders Be Able To Keep Him??

You could certainly make a strong argument that there’s not a single player in the National Football League that plays harder than Las Vegas Raiders All-Pro pass-rusher Maxx Crosby.

Set to enter his sixth season, Crosby has more than proven just how valuable he is.

Turning 27-years-old in late-August, he is about to enter the prime of his career.

New Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce knows all about great defenders, and he’s made it clear that no one’s happier than him that Madd Maxx will continue to wear the Silver and Black.

But just how much longer does Crosby plan to stay in Vegas???

Well, the answer to that question is clear … Crosby stated without hesitation that his preference is to play his entire career with the Raiders.

“The guys who inspire me are the Kobes [Bryant] and the [Michael] Jordans; the guys that stayed at the same place and won in the same place,” Crosby said on The Jim Rome Show.

“No offense to the guys like LeBron [James] and those dudes.

I won’t give them some heat, but they took the easier road traveled and that’s not the way I look at it.”

Crosby emphasized the value of enduring challenges with one single team.

“Going through the ups and downs and the hardships is going to make it that much sweeter when I do win a Super Bowl,” he admirably said.

“So, I plan on being here for a very long time and I plan on winning here. You know when I signed that contract, I didn’t have any type of thought of leaving or idea of leaving.

“I feel like I’m going to be a Raider for life.”

Crosby’s current contract extends through 2026, though he has no guaranteed money left after this season.

Despite being a three-time Pro Bowler in his five seasons, he has played in only one playoff game, with the Raiders holding a 39-45 record during his tenure, including the postseason loss.

However, Crosby is optimistic about the team’s future.

He expressed satisfaction with the Raiders’ decision to make Pierce the permanent head coach and praised the additions of Gardner Minshew, Alexander Mattison, Michael Gallup, and Christian Wilkins to the roster.

Crosby believes these moves are steps toward building something special in Vegas.

Having said that, a true partnership is a two-way street.

Crosby has made it clear that he wants to stay in Vegas and build a legacy with the Raiders.

Although an extension surely won’t come cheap, it’s safe to say the Raiders would be the ultimate fools to even think about letting him walk away.

What are your thoughts on Crosby’s comments?

Can you see him being a Raider for life?

Where do you rank him among the top defensive players in the NFL?

When extension time comes, what type of numbers do you think are in store for Crosby???
