WATCH: Dave Portnoy Reveals Shocking Surprise About Tom Brady Roast … Did He & The GOAT Have A Nasty Falling Out??

We’re a full week removed from Netflix’s epic Tom Brady roast and yet many in the football world are still talking about it.

As you’re certainly aware, the roast was an enormous success and not only lived up to the hype – but far exceeded it.

Present at the roast was a who’s who of comedians and sports figures.

Also at the roast were several members of the media, especially those who are close with Brady and the New England Patriots family.

However, one influential sports media figure who has always had Brady’s back was not invited – Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy.

Not being invited to the roast genuinely caught Portnoy off-guard and left him doing a little soul-searching.

“I thought I was a little bit of a bigger star than I am. Clearly, I overestimated myself,” Portnoy said on an episode of the “BFFs” podcast.

“Everyone in the sun made it to the event. I didn’t even get a ‘Hey, we’re doing’… Half my company was there and got invited apparently, except me, which is strange… Other than that, it was great.”

Among those in attendance at the roast were notable figures such as Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, Danny Amendola, Peyton Manning, Dana White, Kevin Hart, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Nikki Glaser, Will Ferrell and Kim Kardashian.

Portnoy is well-known to be a die-hard fan all Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots.

He has gone to bat for Brady numerous times and was thought to be very much in the GOAT’s good graces.

As one of the most successful entrepreneurs in sports media history, Portnoy has defended Brady throughout every single step of his career.

Meanwhile, Brady recently caused a stir when he indicated that he would be open to making yet another NFL comeback.

Just how serious he was being when he made the remarks remain to be seen. But there are many people who think that he would take the bait if the right situation presented itself.

For now, Brady is preparing to embark on his brand-new broadcasting career.

Set to replace Greg Olsen as the lead analyst on FOX Sports’ “A-team” alongside play-by-play voice Kevin Burkhardt, Brady will remain front and center in the football world.

While some people have doubts over just how good Brady will be in the broadcast booth, one thing is for sure – he’s going to be compensated quite handsomely for his time and effort.

His 10-year deal with FOX Sports will reportedly pay him $375 million.

Getting back to Portnoy – what are your thoughts on him not being invited to the roast?

Do you think that’s a sign of him falling out of grace with Brady?

Or was it a simple yet surprising oversight? … Perhaps on Netflix’s side?

Or are you in the camp of people that couldn’t possibly care less about this???
