WATCH: Prominent Analyst Confidently States Who The Absolute “Steal Of The Draft” Will Be … Will Teams Be Foolish To Pass On Him??

Miraculously, the NFL Draft is just a week away.

Most people agree that this is the best and deepest quarterback draft in recent memory. While that doesn’t mean that all the top guys will pan out (they never do), it’s hard to ignore the talent at the top of the draft.

Everyone can recite the names in their sleep: Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, J.J. McCarthy, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr…

However, the quarterback class goes deeper than that.

As a matter of fact, former Pro Bowl quarterback turned NFL analyst, Robert Griffin III, recently named the one quarterback who he feels will end up going down as the steal of the draft.

No, not Sam Hartman … RGIII is siding with none other than South Carolina star Spencer Rattler.

Speaking on his “RGIII and The Ones” podcast, Griffin raved about Rattler’s ability and sky-high potential, emphasizing his remarkable arm talent.

“When you turn on this man’s tape, he has arm talent out the wazoo,” Griffin stated. “Go watch any of his games, but specifically go watch the Florida game. And watch him make big throw after big throw.”

Rattler, who originally entered Oklahoma as the #1 recruit in his class, had a very rocky tenure with the Sooners.

Following inconsistent (and at times worrying) performances, head coach Lincoln Riley ended up benching him in favor of Caleb Williams.

Rattler ended up transferring to South Carolina where he fared much better.

Having said that, he never came close to reaching the lofty expectations that were originally set for him coming out of high school.

Griffin chalked his inconsistencies up to “leaky” offensive line play and commended him for battling through adversity and still finding a way to put the Gamecocks on his back and make play after play.

Griffin believes that Rattler has the skill-set and potential to be an even better NFL quarterback than he was a college one.

Although rare, sometimes quarterbacks are just slow to develop and can grow even faster in the NFL under the watchful eye of professional coaches and a stable system.

“He is showing teams that the player he was coming out of high school is actually going to translate better to him being a pro quarterback than he ever was a college quarterback,” Griffin confidently stated.

Despite Rattler’s talent and potential, he’s not expected to be a first-round pick.

Some analysts have him going on day two. Some have him dropping to day three. The opinions on him vary greatly.

One thing is for sure – fair or unfair – Rattler has dealt with a lot of adversity and put up with a ton of negative noise during his college career … If his skin isn’t thick by now, it never will be.

What do you think of Rattler as a prospect?

Are you as high on him as RGIII is? … Do you agree that he could potentially be the steal of the draft?

Where do you think he will end up going?

Would you want him on your team???
