WATCH: Tom Brady Confidently Names Who The Next QB Will Be To Win Their First Super Bowl … Genuine Opinion Or Clear Disrespect??

Tom Brady recently made headlines by publicly stating that he’d be open to potentially returning to the NFL.

Exactly how serious he was is unclear, but it would be foolish to completely dismiss the story … We all know how much he must miss playing football.

As he said, he will always be in shape and always be able to throw a football. With NFL rules being more quarterback-friendly than ever, Brady is surely confident he can still play at a high level in the right situation.

On that same “DeepCut” podcast, Brady also made another interesting comment.

When asked who the next quarterback will be to win their first Super Bowl, Brady wasted no time siding with Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen.

“I like Josh Allen a lot. I’d pick Josh,” Brady said confidently. “I like Josh a lot as a guy, as a leader. But, you know, he’s got to get past the Chiefs, and that’s hard, because Patrick’s incredible and the way he leads that team.”

Of course, Brady pointed out the obvious obstacle – Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

While Allen is ultra-talented and undoubtedly one of the best quarterbacks in the entire league, the Bills have gone through the same song and dance in the playoffs the past few years.

Buffalo said farewell to several key players this offseason. For them to compete and beat the Chiefs and Bengals of the world, they need to take a big step forward.

Talent has never been a problem for Allen and the Bills. After all, their “knockout punch” is just about as strong as anyone’s in the league.

Having said that, there always seems to just be something missing with them…

Regardless, it is interesting that Brady chose Allen over Joe Burrow.

We all know that Brady is the ultimate competitor. Perhaps he got sick and tired of hearing everyone compare Burrow to him.

On that same note, he conveniently didn’t go with San Francsico 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy neither. Perhaps that has something to do with his complicated history with his childhood team.

Brady also dropped another interesting nugget on the podcast.

When asked who the most underrated player he’s ever encountered would be, Brady went with a close friend and former teammate: Rodney Harrison.

“I’ll go with a teammate, Rodney Harrison,” Brady declared. “To me, he’s one of the greatest football players the league has ever seen.”

Brady passionately argued that Harrison deserves more aknowledgement for the spectacular (yet controversial) career he had.

“He doesn’t get the recognition, but he should be in the Hall of Fame,” Brady insisted. “As good of a defensive player, smart, tough, physical, [expletive] mean out there on the field, and I loved playing with him.”

(Yeah, but would Brady change his tune if he knew that Harrison thinks Mahomes is better than him???)

What are your thoughts on Brady’s comments?

Who will be the next quarterback to win their first Lombardi Trophy? … Will it be Allen like Brady thinks?

Or are you going with someone like Burrow, Purdy, Herbert or Jackson?

More importantly, do you think Brady will actually unretire AGAIN? … Do you want him to come back???
