Patrick Mahomes Sr., the father of the Kansas City Chiefs All-World quarterback, has been indicted on a felony charge of “driving while intoxicated” for a third or more time.
The indictment comes following his arrest in February, just eight days before the Super Bowl.
Mahomes Sr., a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Twins, Red Sox, Mets, Rangers, Cubs, and Pirates, was hit with the charge – and since it’s his third, he might be in big trouble.

A third DWI conviction in Texas carries penalties of up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
The 53-year-old Mahomes Sr. was arrested in Tyler, Texas, in early February on a DWI charge, marking his third offense.
Reports suggest that authorities found an open 16-ounce Coors beer in the center console of his vehicle during the stop.
Pat being on course to be the GOAT of football despite having the most God awful people around him isn’t spoken about enough

This isn’t the first time Mahomes Sr. has faced legal consequences for driving under the influence. He received his second DWI charge in 2018.
Despite the legal troubles, the younger Patrick who we all know and love provided little commentary on his father’s situation leading up to the Super Bowl.
During the Super Bowl Opening Night festivities in Las Vegas, the 28-year-old quarterback briefly touched on his father’s situation.
“He’s doing good. Don’t really want to get into it too much, but he’s doing good for whatever the situation is.”

What are your thoughts on the situation?
What will end up happening to Sr.?
As far as Jr. – is he indeed the best quarterback in all of football?
Will the Chiefs actually three-peat next season???
