REPORT: The 49ers Are Trying To Add Yet Another Star To Their Loaded Roster … Will He Help Them FINALLY Win The Super Bowl??

It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Chargers have serious financial issues as they try to navigate their salary cap situation.

With new head coach Jim Harbaugh in town, many people expect Justin Herbert and the Bolts to finally take a significant step forward.

However, they have some very important decisions to make when it comes to their roster.

They have released wide receiver Mike Williams and are in the process of restructuring the contract of linebacker Khalil Mack … That’s a good start.

However, decisions have to be made on the futures of receiver Keenan Allen and pricey pass rusher Joey Bosa.

The Chargers are reportedly interested in exploring the possibility of trading Allen and/or Bosa.

According to Mike Silver of the San Francisco Chronicle, when it comes to Bosa, they could very well be shipping him out to a very interesting team: the 49ers.

“The 49ers are still hunting for value acquisitions in free agency, especially in the defensive backfield. Joey Bosa, if released by the Chargers (or if trade & contract terms were favorable), remains enticing at the right price,” Silver tweeted on X.

Bosa currently has two years left on his contract with the Chargers.

Of course, his brother Joey is one of the faces of the 49ers … Teaming the brothers up in San Francisco would be absolutely fascinating.

The allure of Bosa’s talent is undeniable. He’s a constant force on the field and has totaled an impressive 321 tackles and 67 sacks since his debut in 2016.

Should the Chargers decide to part ways with Bosa, it would undoubtedly free up substantial cap space for the team but leave a significant gap on their defense.

After all, Bosa’s don’t just grow on trees. (Nobody knows this more than Harbaugh.)

This is surely the reason why Big Jim and the Chargers were able to convince Bosa to restructure his deal just a few hours ago – making it a near-certainty that he will remain in Los Angeles after all…

What are your thoughts on Bosa?

Are you surprised he restructured his deal?

Is there still any chance of him being traded to San Francisco or has that shipped now sailed???
